The Williams Companies (WMB), based out of Tulsa, Okla., will host its 2023 Analyst Day event in NYC on Feb. 21. Management is scheduled to give in-depth presentations covering the company's natural gas-focused strategy to meet growing clean energy demands.
Its Gulf Connector Project is in full service, further connecting its Transco pipeline – the largest-volume interstate natural gas pipeline in the U.S. - with global liquefied natural gas (LNG) markets.
Among its projects across Gulf Coast states includes the Hillabee Expansion Project of the existing Transco pipeline’s capacity in Alabama to supply natural gas to the Sabal Trail pipeline.
Its Southeast Energy Connector project is an expansion of the existing Transco pipeline in Alabama to support the conversion of electric power generation in Alabama from coal to natural gas.
Its Texas to Louisiana Energy Pathway project is an expansion of the Transco pipeline’s capacity in Texas and Louisiana and will support reliability and diversification of energy infrastructure along the Gulf Coast.
Earning spotlights this week: Walmart and Home Depot will be in the headlines for this holiday-shortened trading week. Both will report Q4 earnings on Feb. 21. Analysts are anticipating solid numbers for the quarter and cautious guidance for the year ahead. Moderna is up Feb. 23.
