The Southern Company has announced a new chief financial officer (CFO) for Alabama Power as part of a second round of executive appointments this year. Montgomery, Ala., native Moses Feagin, currently serving as senior VP, treasurer and CFO at Mississippi Power, will become Alabama Power’s CFO March 1. Feagin will also serve as executive VP and treasurer effective March 1. Feagin currently oversees the finance, accounting, regulatory affairs and rates departments for Mississippi Power. He joined Southern Company in 1987. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama. In addition, the Southern Company named Matthew Grice as VP, treasurer and CFO of Mississippi Power, succeeding Feagin. Grice has been Mississippi Power’s Comptroller since July 2020.
