The FOX Forecast Center is tracking two potential storm systems that could move across the country next week, bringing snow, heavy rain, flooding and severe weather to the central and southern states. Freeze said temperatures west of the Mississippi River could generally be average or colder while above average east of the river. "It sets up potentially ... to trigger rain on the south side ... and potentially some decent snow on the north," she said. The weather patterns are showing there will be more storm activity next week, according to Freeze. The first system could arrive on Feb. 13-14, with the second impacting the region on Feb. 15-16.
