Regional DoD contracts April 6

* Akima Intra-Data LLC, Colorado Springs, Colorado, was awarded a $199,777,106 hybrid firm-fixed-price with cost-reimbursable contract line-item numbers contract for Keesler Air Force Base Operation Support in Mississippi. This contract provides for all management, equipment, personnel, and services necessary to support the 81st Training Wing mission at Keesler AFB, Mississippi, including civil engineering, supply and logistics, community services, human resources and weather services. Work will be performed in Biloxi, Mississippi, is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2030. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition, and eight offers were received. Fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $22,204,442 are being obligated at the time of award. The 338th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, is the contracting activity.

* Geo Ex Subsurface Exploration, Dixon, California (W91238-23-D-0005); Taber Drilling, West Sacramento, California (W91238-23-D-0007); and Gulf Shore Construction Services Inc.,* New Orleans, Louisiana (W91238-23-D-0008), will compete for each order of the $9,900,000 firm-fixed-price contract for drilling, cone penetrometer testing services, backhoe, and track hoe excavations. Bids were solicited via the internet with four received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of April 13, 2028. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento, California, is the contracting activity. (DoD 04/06/23)
