NEW ORLEANS - Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business will present the 26th Annual Burkenroad Reports Investment Conference here on April 28. The annual event gives institutional investors and the public an opportunity to hear presentations by executives from small- to mid-cap public companies HQ'd across the Gulf South. Speakers will be from banking, construction, manufacturing, security, transportation and other industries. Howard Marks, co-founder and co-chairman of Oaktree Capital Management, will deliver the keynote address. It's an opportunity for investors/public to hear from people running companies that are "under-followed by Wall Street,” said Peter Ricchiuti, founder/director of the Burkenroad Reports. Among some of the companies' reps to speak include: Amerisafe Inc. (AMSF), Construction Partners (ROAD), Marine Products Corp. (MPX), Sunnova Energy International (NOVA) and Vistra Corp. (VST).
