PENSACOLA, Fla. - Navy Captain Terrence Shashaty will assume command of Navl Air Station Pensacola during a change of command ceremony Jan. 13 at the Naval Aviation Museum on base. Shashaty, a Brooklyn, N.Y., native and U.S. Naval Academy graduate, comes to NASP following duty with the Joint Chiefs of Staff as the electronic warfare branch chief for the Deputy Directorate for Global Operations. Shashaty began his aviation training at NAS Pensacola and earned his Wings of Gold in 2000. Throughout his career, Shashaty flew EA-18G Growlers and EA-6B Prowlers. Outgoing CO, Capt. Timothy F.
