COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. - Twenty-four officers earned the right to become Air Force pilots after graduating from Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training (S
UPT) Class 22-04 here on Jan. 18. Col. Benjamin Jonsson, 6th Air Refueling Wing commander at MacDill AFB, Fla., was the guest speaker. Jonsson graduated SUPT at CAFB 21 years ago. Since graduating, he has accumulated over 3,700 hours as a command pilot. SUPT graduates had to complete a 52-week course, comprised of academics, physiological, and flight training in the T-6A Texan II, T-1A Jayhawk, and T-38C Talon. (Source: CAFB 01/18/22)
