MSU prof new biz associate dean

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State University professor of marketing, Nicole Ponder, has been named to a new position as associate dean in MSU’s College of Business. She began July 1. In the new post, she will oversee all of the college’s graduate programs and assessment efforts. Dr. Ponder’s expertise in assessment is critical to the college’s accreditations through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. She earned a bachelor’s in marketing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile before obtaining master’s and doctoral degrees in the field from the University of Alabama.
