The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) is scheduled to award a $375,000 grant to set up a new minority business center in Jackson, Miss., U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) said via social media. MBDA is the only federal agency tasked with promoting the competitiveness of minority businesses, according to its website.
