STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State Provost and Executive VP David Shaw announced May 1 that Scott J. Grawe will join the university July 1 as the dean of the College of Business. Grawe, a supply chain management expert, is an Iowa State University tenured professor in the College of Business (CoB) and interim director of ISU’s Study Abroad Center. Grawe also has leadership experience in the private sector with Target Corporation and Polaris Industries. Grawe did undergraduate studies in finance at ISU before earning an MBA with a concentration in supply chain management from the University of Minnesota. His Ph.D. in supply chain management and marketing is from the University of Oklahoma. Grawe's appointment is pending formal approval by the Board of Trustees' State Institutions of Higher Learning.
