COLUMBUS, Miss. - The Golden Triangle Regional Airport received new Delta Airlines jets in April, says GTRA Executive Director Matt Dowell. The new jets accommodate nearly 80 passengers. The older jets carried 50. Delta has also ungraded to two daily flights to and from Atlanta. Passengers like the bigger aircraft, says Dowell, with more seating and more r luggage space. The new aircraft also provide in-flight entertainment and first-class service - options that was previously unavailable. GTRA is also continuing to look toward westward routes. (WTVA 05/08/23)
