Clark Beverage Group, a fourth-generation family-owned bottler and distributor currently HQ'd in Kentucky, is planning to add 30 new jobs with a planned $100M expansion at its new "mega site" in Madison County, Miss. The company will be closing its Jackson distribution site as part of the expansion, but the transition won't fully happen until the first quarter of 2025. CBG started distributing Coca-Cola in 1903. The new Madison facility is expected to become its flagship plant, according to a media release. All 300+ Jackson employees will have the option to move and work in the Madison plant. The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance with the project through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive. Madison County also is assisting with the project.
