HII: Free Juneteenth museum fees

PASCAGOULA, Miss. - Huntington Ingalls Industries' shipbuilding division will sponsor free admissions to both the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, located in Jackson, in recognition of Juneteenth. ‎‎Signed into law last June, Juneteenth is a federal holiday to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the U.S. after the Civil War, on June 19, 1865. ‎‎Ingalls is sponsoring free admission on June 17-18. ‎Juneteenth themed tours will be held in the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on June 18-19.
