WEST POINT, Miss. - Navistar Defense announced last week that it plans to lay off between 100 to 200 employees beginning at the end of the month.
The company makes military vehicles, trailers and shipping containers.
Golden Triangle Development LINK CEO Joe Max Higgins said the layoffs will come in October and November.
He said the trailer and shipping container portions of the company have seen a decrease in demand.
