JACKSON, Miss. - The Mississippi Public Service Commission (PSC) is launching a 6-week investigation into Entergy’s response to recent storm-related power outages.
Central District PSC Commissioner Brent Bailey said he wants to understand why Entergy Mississippi took so long to restore power after a series of summer storms left tens of thousands with no lights or air conditioning last month.
The 3-member commission voted unanimously July 11 authorize the investigation. Authorities will be requesting information from Entergy to get answers to Bailey’s questions. (WAPT 07/11/23) PSC launches investigation into Entergy’s response to Mississippi power outages (wapt.com)
