Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced July 14 that the president has made the following nomination:
* Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael J. Lutton for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy commander, Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. Lutton is currently serving as commander, Twentieth Air Force, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. (DoD 07/14/23)
