More than 350 students in Mississippi's Golden Triangle region set up their own lemonade stands as part of Lemonade Day on July 15 with the purpose of learning about entrepreneurship and money management.
Many of the kids had specific goals for the monies they'd earned, such as saving for college.
Another group of students planned to donate their earnings to a special teacher for classroom supplies.
The students were encouraged to spend, save and share some of their earnings. (WCBI 07/15/23) Lemonade day takes over the golden triangle region (wcbi.com)
