The General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded contracts to eight U.S. air carriers to provide for federal travelers during FY 2024.
The selected airlines will offer an estimated 53% discount on airfare rates for official government air travel starting Oct. 1 through the agency’s City Pair Program.
Pre-negotiated City Pair fares are projected to generate approximately $2.4B in FY-24 taxpayer savings related to official travel for federal employees. The awardees are:
- Alaska Airlines
- American Airlines
- Delta Air Lines
- Hawaiian Airlines
- JetBlue Airways
- Silver Airways
- Southwest Airlines
- United Airlines
GSA selected the air carriers based on the availability of their service, total number of flights, average elapsed flight time and service price. (GovWire 07/18/23) 8 Airlines Book FY 2024 Federal Government Transport Service Contracts - GovCon Wire
