VICKSBURG, Miss. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' (USACE) Vicksburg District has selected Whitney McRae as its new Strategic Planner to direct and manage long term project milestones across a variety of disciplines.
McRae will coordinate with senior leadership to ensure the district’s operational decisions maintain its record for continuous improvement. In addition, she will serve as program manager for the Vicksburg Leadership Development Program (VLDP) and track district hiring data to coordinate with Mississippi Valley Division (MVD) on strategic hiring initiatives.
Most recently, she served as the district’s interim strategic planner. Prior to joining USACE, Whitney served as the assistant compliance officer and academic advisor at the Mississippi College Athletic Department.
McRae obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of Mississippi in 2011 and her Master of Science degree in athletic administration from Mississippi College in 2014.
* Additionally, USACE's Vicksburg District selected Warren Lister as chief of the Real Estate Division.
The mission of the Real Estate Division is to acquire and manage all real property assets of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and advise project sponsors on their requirements in the development of projects in support of the Vicksburg District.
Lister has a master’s degree from Delta State University in applied science with a concentration in geospatial information technologies and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Mississippi State University. (USACE Vicksburg 07/05/23)
