Flooding in east Mississippi was a major concern July 13 due to storms trailing behind one other.
The area between the Golden Triangle region and Louisville has seen 8-to-12+ inches of rain between 4 and 11 a.m. The mayor of Louisville declared a state of emergency.
Storm reports in Winston County show swamped homes, submerged cars and impassable roads.
