Alabama Shipyard LLC, Mobile, Alabama, is awarded an $8,698,054 firm-fixed-price contract (N3220522C4019) for a 75-calendar day shipyard availability for the mid-term availability of Military Sealift Command’s fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie (T-AO 203). This contract includes a base period and three options which, if exercised would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $8,823,424. Work will be performed in Mobile, Alabama, beginning Aug. 9 and is expected to be completed by Oct. 12. Fiscal 2022 working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $8,698,054 are obligated and will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. This contract was a small business set-aside with proposals solicited via the Government Point of Entry website and six offers received.
