Last fall, the West Point, Miss., company Plum Creek Environmental, which makes waste containers and recycling equipment, took advantage of a rebate program from the Mississippi Development Authority to help defray the costs of a $3M expansion. Six months later, the company has far exceeded expectations. They were able to purchase a 60,000 sf across the street to double production, Plum Creek founder Jim Wamble said.
