BizAv seets new records

North American business flight activity (BizAv) marked the strongest April on record, up 16.7% over 2021, according to Argus International’s latest Aircraft Activity Report. European activity jumped 74.8%, according to a report detailing Argus TraqPak data of IFR business turboprop and jet activity. In North America, Part 91 activity (private-piloted aircraft) logged the greatest gains in April, up 20.1%. Large-cabin jets led the surge with a 31.5% increase. Midsize-cabin activity was up 20.6% between Aprils and small-cabin activity by 13.6 percent. Turboprop activity lagged the gains in business jet flights but was up 8.5%. Argus is projecting continued growth in flight activity for May, anticipating flights will be up 14% in North America.
