TUPELO, Miss. - Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann and Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley will headline the annual State of the Region event here June 10. The event is hosted by the CREATE Foundation's Commission on the Future of Northeast Mississippi. Hosemann will focus on vision his for Mississippi and regional players. Presley will speak about the ongoing expansion of broadband access within the state. The free, open-to-the-public session will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the BancorpSouth Conference Center. The Northeast Mississippi Regional Profile and CREATE Foundation’s 2020 Annual Report will be distributed; and the Jack Reed Sr. Community Leadership Award will be presented.
