The Senate Armed Services Committee advanced Frank Kendall, President Biden’s nominee to lead the Air Force, on June 10 in a voice vote. Six other nominees were also advanced sending all to the Senate floor for a final vote. Kendall previously served in the Defense Department as its top weapons buyer for the Obama administration.
