Jackson, Miss., is being warned to expect a flash mob of square dancers between June 23-26. It’ll all be part of the world’s largest square dance event as the National Square Dance Convention will celebrate its 70th anniversary at the Jackson Convention Center. There will be some 2,000 participants from 46 states. The conventioneers will also take their skills across Jackson for a series of flash mobs on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. with stops at the Farmer’s Market, Highland Village, Fondren District, and the Jackson Zoo.
