Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced Nov. 7 that the president has nominated Air Force Col. Tommy F. Tillman Jr. to the grade of brigadier general. Tillman is currently serving as the director of operations, Mississippi Air National Guard, Joint Force Headquarters, Jackson, Miss. (DoD 11/07/23)
