Texas-based American Plant Food received unanimous approval from the Louisiana Board of Commerce and Industry in October for its e Industrial Tax Exemption Program application to forgo paying 80% of its property taxes on $227M in proposed investments.
The Parish Council and School Board are planning to review the application at separate public meetings on Dec. 6. They are expected to draw large crowds and comments from residents.
