The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Huntsville, Ala., District has posted a draft request for proposals for a potential 10-year, $960M small business set-aside contract vehicle for .
The Army Ordinance and Explosives Directorate requires support to locate, identify, recover, evaluate, transport and dispose of munitions and explosives of concern, as well as hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste at defense and government sites nationwide, according to a notice posted JUNE 16 on SAM.gov.
Work will be performed at facilities across the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii; the U.S. territories; outlying areas; and territorial waters.
The multiple-award task order contract has a two-year base period along with eight option years.
Interested parties have until July 1 to respond to the draft solicitation. (GovWire 06/20/23)
