NEW ORLEANS - A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans-based MH-60 Jayhawk crew medevaced a 37-year-old man from an offshore platform early on March 13 about 40 miles south of Port Fourchon, La. The CG received a call at around 7 a.m. from an aircrew of the Acadian Air Med requesting assistance to medevac a crewmember aboard the platform who was reportedly having difficulty breathing. The CG aircrew landed on the platform, embarked the man aboard and transferred him to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at the University Medical Center in New Orleans. The man was last reported to be in stable condition. (Coast Guard 03/13/23)
