An Ice Storm Warning is in effect for Lafayette, Alcorn and Tippah counties in Mississippi. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for Union, Yalobusha, Tishomingo, Lee, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Calhoun and Grenada counties. Some travel disruptions cannot be ruled out, especially in NW Mississippi. Don’t expect temperatures to budge Tuesday with highs in the low 40s in the Tupelo area and middle 30s in the NW. More rain to come for Tuesday evening. By Wednesday morning, likely to bring a wintry mix to Corinth, Oxford, Blue Mountain and Ripley. Temperatures start in the mid-to-lower 30s with a cold rainfall for most areas. Showers remain on Thursday with high temps reaching the mid-40s. Start to dry out by the end of the week.
