West Point, Miss., businessman George W. Bryan, with a long history of community service has died at age 78. Bryan, who served as president of Bryan Foods, CEO for Sara Lee Foods and founder of Old Waverly Golf Club died Jan. 6 of natural causes. Bryan's father John H. Bryan Sr. founded Bryan Foods in the 1930s. George Bryan obtained a degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 1968. (Clarion Ledger 01/06/22)
