Delta Air Lines will begin using larger 76-seat Bombardier CRJ-900 jets with two round-trip flights between Atlanta and the Golden Triangle Regional Airport (GTRA) in Columbus, Miss., beginning in April. The flight times are arranged to maximize connections for travelers based on current patterns. GTR passenger numbers have returned to pre-pandemic levels with year-over-year growth since 2020. GTRA Executive Director Matt Dowell said the larger jets are part of a long-term plan to meet the regional community’s needs. (GTRA 01/03/23) GTR adds larger jets - Golden Triangle Regional Airport
