STARKVILLE, Miss. - Leslie Tally, a two-time graduate of Mississippi State University’s College of Education, has been named Mississippi Teacher of the Year. The Corinth, Miss., native is a second-grade English Language Arts teacher at Lawhon Elementary School in Tupelo. She holds MSU bachelor’s and master’s degrees in elementary education.
