Commander, Navy Region Southeast has selected Naval Station Mayport and NAS Whiting Field, both in Florida, as its nominations for the CNIC FY 2023 Installation Excellence Award (IEA). NAVSTA Mayport will represent in the large installation category. NAS Whiting Field will represent in the small installation category. Bases that came in Second Place (Large) was Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga.; and Second Place (Small): NAS JRB Fort Worth, Texas. Third Place (Large): NAS Jacksonville, Fla., and Third Place (Small): NAS Meridian, Miss. (NAS Meridian Facebook 11/07/22)
