UPDATE: Artemis I lifts off

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - NASA remained on track for Nov. 16's early morning launch of its new Artemis I moon rocket from here, after determining that Hurricane Nicole's damage provided little extra risk to the unmanned flight. On Nov. 15, the NASA Live YouTube channel will provide coverage of the Artemis I launch including Space Launch System refueling beginning at 3:30 p.m. and launch coverage beginning at 10:30 p.m. Liftoff is scheduled for Nov. 16 at 1:04 a.m. within a 2-hour launch window, NASA stated. Artemis 1 lifts off from Cape Canaveral

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Artemis 1, NASA’s new moon rocket, blasted off on its debut flight with three test dummies aboard (today Nov. 16), bringing America a step closer to putting astronauts back on the lunar surface for the first time in 50 years ago.  During the 3-week flight, the crew capsule will be propelled into a wide orbit of the moon and returned to Earth with a Pacific splashdown in December.
