Vicksburg biz plan competition

A partnership program between the Vicksburg Warren Chamber of Commerce and Hinds Community College that trains small businesses and entrepreneurs in skills needed to start and grow a business concluded Dec. 6 with 17 graduations and a $1,500 seed grant to the top participant of the program's business plan competition. 

The Business Plan Competition seed grant went to Seth Lloyd of Lloyd Forge & Finish. 

Graduates included Kristen C. Harris, Rebecca Hunt, Larina Mason, LaKesha Harrison Screws, Randy Hayward Jolly, Christine Councell, Shernica L. Ferguson, Chris Rials, Mike Garcia, Ritch Southard, Markita Green, Debraka Paige Williams, Khelli Lockridge, Sharon Johnson, Wendy Boyd, and Maggie Rowland.
