Airbus landed the Dubai Airshow's first major order on Nov. 14, and later followed up with another major score the following day. Indigo Partners owns Frontier airlines in the U.S. and carriers in Mexico, Hungary, and South America. The company ordered over 200 Airbus 321 style aircraft. Airbus says most of the planes will be built at its plant in Mobile, Ala. Airbus says the orders will trickle in over the next three years. Frontier and Hungary based Wizz Air will reportedly each receive close to 100 Airbus planes; 23 will go to JetSmart, which operates in Chile and Argentina. A portion of the order is reportedly for A321 “neos.” Some reports put the value of the deal as high as $32B. In its second big deal in Dubai, Airbus announced Nov. 14 that it has received an order from the Air Lease Corp, for 111 aircraft. The deal, likely valued into the tens of billions of dollars, includes 25 A220-330s, 55 A321neos, 20 A321 XLRs, four A330neos and seven A350Fs.
