JACKSON, Miss. - The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hold its regular monthly meeting Nov. 19 beginning at 9 a.m. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference or an online meeting platform. The meeting will be webcast on www.mississippi.edu. The public and media may attend the meeting in the IHL Board Room in Jackson, allowing the maximum number in the room per Executive Order of the governor. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. The Health Affairs Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning, chaired by Columbus Trustee Dr. John Walter Starr Jr., will meet Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. to discuss various health affairs topics and initiatives. The Mississippi Board of Trustees governs Mississippi’s public universities.
