NEW ORLEANS - A Coast Guard helicopter crew from CG Air Station New Orleans rescued two 60-year-old men on Nov. 3 from an aground vessel near Lafitte, La., about 20 miles south of Marrero, La. The CG received a report of a 16-to-18 foot dark-colored flat bottom vessel boat that was aground around 7 p.m. Tuesday. An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew was launched to the scene, hoisted the duo aboard, and transported them back to the air station without medical issues. (Source: Coast Guard 11/04/20)
