Austal USA, Mobile, Ala., is awarded a $13,330,049 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-17-C-2301) for littoral combat ship (LCS) industrial post-delivery availability support for USS Savannah (LCS 28). Work will be performed in Mobile (80%); and Pittsfield, Mass. (20%). It is expected to be completed by December 2022. FY 2017 Navy shipbuilding and conversion funds in the amount of $3,000,000 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
