The Secretary of the Navy and Chief of Naval Operations announced Nov. 13 that Rear Adm. Alvin Holsey will be assigned as Commander of Navy Personnel Command; and Deputy Chief of Naval Personnel at Millington, Tenn. He is currently serving as special assistant to the commander of Naval Air Forces/commander Naval Air Force at the U.S. Pacific Fleet, with additional duty as director, Task Force One Navy, in Washington, D.C.
