Innovate Mississippi has announced the inaugural ‘NextUp Statewide Student Pitch Competition’ - to be held virtually April 13-14 - as part of the kickoff of the Sixth Annual Mississippi Entrepreneurship Forum. Student entrepreneurs from all Mississippi colleges are invited to compete in pitching their business ideas to a distinguished panel of judges. The forum is sponsored by the Mississippi Development Authority, and provides working opportunities for aspiring business owners and thriving entrepreneurs to share practical information about building businesses. Students interested in competing - for cash and in-kind prizes – must apply before March 8. Selected participants will be paired with a mentor to help prepare for the competition. To attend or participate, contact Tasha Bibb at tbibb@innovate.ms or 601-960-3610 or online at Mississippi Entrepreneurship Forum | The University of Mississippi (olemiss.edu).
