The Port of Gulfport, Miss., is hosting s public meeting March 18 on its proposed Access Project and to hear from contractor, MSPA-G and Cypress, representatives about the design and environmental impacts of the project. The scope of the proposed project includes construction of about 6,500 linear feet of surface road within the existing paved footprint of 30th Avenue, a 160-foot grade-separated bridge over U.S. Highway 90, the addition of a second turn lane for westbound Highway 90 traffic, pavement strengthening measures along 30th Avenue within the project footprint, new signalization, access management improvements and implementation of an Intelligent Transportation.
