STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State University is presenting a number of free events on campus throughout February in honor of Black History Month. The exhibit, sponsored by MSU’s African American Studies program and University Archives, is entitled “Nothing New Under the Sun: The History of Black Students at MSU” highlights Black activism and student life since Dr. Richard Holmes became the first Black student to enroll at MSU in the summer of 1965.
