The Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) says Edison Chouest Offshore’s Gulf Ship shipyard in Gulfport, Miss., is expanding to fulfill a new contract for tugboats. MDA says the project will create more than 200 jobs and provides assistance for improvements to the launching system and waterfront area. The Sun Herald reports that the MDA grant is in an amount worth up to to $900,000. (Source: Marine MLog 09/19/20) https://www.marinelog.com/shipyards/edison-chouests-gulf-ship-shipyard-to-add-jobs/
