The Defense Department has confirmed an upcoming classified meeting this week with top defense industry firms to discuss ways to protect the industrial base and boost production capacity amid demand for weapons in support of Ukraine. In a previous meeting between the entities included Raytheon, Lockheed and General Dynamics. "We have heard the concerns from industry regarding supply-chain challenges and workforce issues and we share them," Pentagon's chief weapons buyer Bill LaPlante told Reuters.
