NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard continues searching for a person in the water on Oct. 7 near Main Pass, La. Rescue crews are searching for a 48-year-old Caucasian male last seen wearing a white shirt. CG Sector New Orleans received a call from a good Samaritan mid-afternoon Oct. 6 reporting an unmanned red and yellow 25-foot pleasure craft with recent signs of occupancy. The CG launched rescue crews from CG Air Station New Orleans, CG Station Venice, and the CG Aviation Training Center in Mobile, Ala., to begin searching. (Coast Guard 10/07/21)
