NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard conducted a medical evacuation of a 59-year-old male from a research vessel about 26 miles south of Port Fourchon, La., on Dec. 7. He was displaying possible stroke-like symptoms, according to the master of trhe vessel. The CG launched an MH-65 Dolphin helicoptter aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans to assist. The helicopter crew hoisted the man aboard and transferred him to West Jefferson Hospital in Marrero in reportedly stable condition. (Source: CG 12/07/20)
