Harvey Gulf International Marine has named Steve Olmos to manage and grow its Subsea Solutions installations group; and Jon Holvik to enhance marketing capabilities of Harvey Gulf International Marine, Harvey Gulf Subsea Solutions, Harvey Fuel and its Offshore Windfarm Vessel Support division. Olmos came to HGIM from Oceaneering International, where he most recently oversaw umbilical installations, flexible pipe and jumpers as well as various decommissioning projects. Holvik is of Norwegian descent and spent most of his career with Kongsberg Maritime. HGIM is HQ'd in New Orleans.
*Rene Vidrine has been an executive account manager for Danos, located in Gray, La. He will oversee and maintain the firm’s long-time customer Occidental with a focus on on-and-off shore operations. The Thibodeaux native and Nicholls State University graduate joined Danos in 2006 as a safety specialist and has most recently general manager of shale production. Danos is a multi-facted business
